February 6th, 2024, I got some Heirloom Detroit Dark Red beet seed and some Detroit Dark Red Morse’s Strain

2024 – Direct Sowing
As soon as the weather breaks and we are free of frosty days I will be direct sowing the beets in the garden in a raised bed. Last year I had so much trouble with weeds due to the extreme heat, I could not find my crop! Hopefully a raised bed will solve that issue.
I need to pick a raised bed and clean it off and get it ready.
